A field blend from 50 year old vines of traditional, native grape varieties. After vinification and malolactic fermentation the wine is put into barrels for 9-12 months to refine.
The wine is very expressive of the terroir with its intense, concentrated nose. On the palate the tannins are present and bring great structure to the wine. There are aromas of red fruits that lift the overall taste to make it very elegant.
This would go well with barbequed meats.
