Inspired by the 1950s Barcelona bars with paintings of the tapas they offer in their windows, El Bandarra was created in 2014 by three brothers, each looking after an aspect of the company, from production to sales.
Produced in Catalunya and made with Macabeo and Xarel·lo grapes, the vermouth uses over 50 extracts of herbs, flowers and spices such as cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, liquorice, aniseed, chamomile, rosemary, bay leaf, hops, bitter orange – to name a few! After maceration, it gets a little rest in oak barrels.
