The strongest of the Trappist beers produced at L’Abbaye Notre Dame de Saint-Remy, this red-brown beer has aromas of dried fruit (figs, raisins), nuts and dark chocolate. In the mouth flavours of caramel, chocolate, dried fruit and herbal touches from the hops are all present. Bold flavours that linger until the finish. This is a beer that comfortably stands toe to toe with wine as an accompaniment to food.
